How to Find Your Ring Size (and Why It Really Matters)
A quick, reliable guide from OG Fine Jewelry — handcrafted in Los Angeles.
Why ring size matters
A ring should feel like a second skin — comfortable, effortless, and secure. When it fits perfectly, you’ll forget you’re even wearing it (until the sparkle catches the light). When it’s too loose, you risk losing it; when it’s too tight, it’s no longer comfortable to wear every day.
That’s why knowing your exact ring size before purchasing is so important — especially when you’re shopping online.
How to measure your ring size at home
Option 1 — Measure a ring you already own
- Choose a ring that fits the exact finger you’ll wear your new one on.
- Measure the inner diameter (in millimeters) with a ruler or caliper.
- Compare the measurement with our size chart below.
Option 2 — Paper or string method
- Wrap a thin strip of paper (or string) around your finger.
- Mark where the ends meet and measure the length in mm — that’s your circumference.
- Match your circumference to the chart to find your US size.

| 6 | 16.5 | 51.9 |
